Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.

Last updated:

1. Who we are

PrimeFit HR ("we", "us", "our") is a recruitment consultancy based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We operate the website primefithr.com. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you.

Information you give us

  • Hiring enquiry form: your name, business email, phone number and company name, the industry and service you select, the number of positions and any message you choose to write.
  • Other contact: information you share when you contact us in other ways, for example by email, phone or LinkedIn.

The enquiry form is intended for employers. Please do not send CVs, identity documents, salary slips, health information or other sensitive personal data through the form.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the website.
  • Analytics data: how visitors use the website, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, collected by Google Analytics (see Cookies and analytics).

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call.
  • To understand your hiring requirement and prepare a proposal, if you ask for one.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
  • To protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (website analytics).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

When you submit the enquiry form you are asked to agree to this policy. We process the information you submit on the basis of that consent, for the purposes described above. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us through the enquiry form on our Contact page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it, and we may retain information where the law requires us to.

5. Service providers and sharing

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, security and cookieless visitor statistics.
  • Web3Forms: delivers enquiry form submissions to our email inbox.
  • Our email provider: receives and stores our correspondence with you.
  • Google Analytics: website usage measurement. Advertising features are switched off.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not otherwise share your personal data with third parties.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga) and collects usage data in aggregated form. We have switched off Google's advertising features, so this data is not used for advertising or ad personalisation, and we do not use it to identify you.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works normally without these cookies.

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and for any engagement that follows, and afterwards only as long as reasonably necessary for record-keeping or as required by law. We then delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
  • ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • have a grievance addressed; and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, send us a request through the enquiry form on our Contact page and mention "Privacy request" in the message. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

Questions, requests or complaints about how we handle personal data are handled by:
